Your space preferably has dim light. Not dark but dim. Think dusk, when it is almost dark but still light enough to see objects and expressions clearly. Natural light is preferable as some light bulbs cast a very yellow light which may cause problems with the colors. It will make red look like orange, and blue look like green. If you don’t have natural light, opt for candles.
