Sacred Space
From the rites of the Munay Ki, Shamanic Sacred Space is formed using the energy of the Soul Star Chakra to shield and protect.
Sacred space is a place where you can feel safe, relaxed, and connected to the divine. It can be any place that feels special to you, such as a forest, a beach, or a room in your home. When you create sacred space, you are creating a container for your spiritual practice.
In Munay Ki, sacred space is created by calling in the four directions, the earth, and the heavens.
This is done by facing each direction and saying a prayer or invocation. The four directions represent the four elements: air, fire, water, and earth.
The earth represents the physical body, the heavens represent the spiritual realm, and the four directions represent the four aspects of the human being: body, mind, heart, and spirit.
Once sacred space has been created, you can begin your spiritual practice. This may involve meditation, prayer, ritual, or any other activity that helps you connect with the divine.
When you are in sacred space, you are more open to receiving guidance and inspiration from the divine.
Here are some tips for creating sacred space for the Munay Ki:
- Choose a place that is quiet and peaceful.
- Clear the space of any distractions, such as phones, computers, and other electronic devices.
- Light a candle or incense to create a sacred atmosphere.
- Place some crystals or other objects that have special meaning to you in the space.
- Sit or lie down in a comfortable position.
- Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths.
- Visualize a white light surrounding you and filling you with peace and love.
- Say a prayer or invocation to call in the four directions, the earth, and the heavens.
- Begin your spiritual practice.
When you are finished with your spiritual practice, take a few minutes to rest and reflect. Thank the divine for their guidance and inspiration. Then, open your eyes and return to the ordinary world.
Creating sacred space is a simple way to connect with the divine and to deepen your spiritual practice. By following these tips, you can create a sacred space that is both safe and inviting.
