Methi Ajwain Kali Jeeri Powder is possibly one of the best known of the Ayurvedic Remedies for weight loss. Practitioners have recommended this mixture of seeds and water as a remedy for losing belly fat and excess weight for centuries. This simple blend of powdered seeds hold a number of health giving properties which really do help you shed those extra pounds. It is simple to make and effective. See for yourself the Methi, Ajwain, Kali Jeeri benefits for weight loss and general health. Simply make the powder mix as detailed below. Add 1-2 teaspoons of the powder to 250 ml of hot water. Let infuse for a few minutes and then enjoy!
Using a small fry pan, dry roast the 250 g methi, approx 1-2 minutes, or until you smell the roasted aroma. Place them aside and let them cool down.
Repeat the procedure with 100 g ajwain.
Repeat with 50 g kali jeeri.
Once all 3 toasted seeds have cooled (they need to be completely cold!) mix them together and add the 3 tbsp ginger powder and 2 tbsp asafetida. Mix well.
Place the mix into a spice grinder (or pestle and mortar) and grind until it forms a fine dry powder. Store in an airtight container in a cool place for future use.
