This homemade sugar scrub recipe is wonderful for skin health and provides you with a youthful glow. After using this wonderful blend you will feel like you've had an aromatherapy spa session. The cypress, grapefruit and frankincense oil bring about a sense of peace and divine bliss. The blend of ingredients and essential oils is unique in the way it refreshes, relaxes and rejuvenates!
Whip the 1/2 cup coconut oil for a minute or two until it is creamy. You can use a whisk or hand mixer. The coconut oil needs to be solid before you can whip it. If it is liquid (usually around 25C) put it in the fridge for 1 hour. Add the 1/4 cup olive oil and continue whipping.
Once the oils are fluffy and creamy add the 1.5 cups granulated sugar and 10 drops cypress essential oil, 10 drops grapefruit essential oil, 5 drops frankincense essential oil. Mix very gently to combine.
Pour into an airtight container. Store in the fridge or in a cool dark place.
